The Olde Tyme Christmas festival in the historic towns of Bolivar and Harpers Ferry, WV, will happen in a unique but still-special way in 2020. This 50th annual event will cap an unprecedented year in American History by offering visitors a safe yet spirited experience they will always remember. Quaintly decorated streets, shops, and inns will welcome visitors to a Victorian-era holiday season. Stroll with townspeople wearing vintage attire, enjoy listening to the clop of horse hooves during a wagon ride, visit Santa and Mrs. Claus at the town gazebo, and find the perfect gift for everyone on your shopping list in a Handmade Holiday Market. Shops and restaurants will offer extended hours and special sales. Masks, limited occupancy, and social distancing will be required to keep our employees, volunteers, visitors, and all those seeking the holiday spirit safe.
