1. Movies Under the Stars - Stranger Than Fiction @ Loudoun Station’s District Park, Ashburn - Please bring your chair or blanket to enjoy the event. Events are free and open to the public, weather permitting.
2. LoCo Kid's Fest @ Segra Field, Leesburg - An incredible free family event featuring service vehicles, food, vendors, education, entertainment, and fun! Interactive activities with Loudoun County Animal Services, Loudoun County Combined Fire & Rescue System, Loudoun County Public Libraries, and Segra Field will be available throughout the day!
3. Soccer Bugs Trial Classes @ Dulles SportsPlex - Join us at VA Academy in Ashburn for FREE trial classes of our national child development program, Soccer Bugs! Classes are for kids 18 months to 6 years old. Our program was created to foster your child's gross/fine motor skills, balance/coordination, and social skills.
4. Quilting Bee @ Loudoun Heritage Farm Museum - Join us to create 12" quilt squares. No experience necessary. Recommended for ages 8 and up. Adults welcome too. Squares will be joined and quilted for donation to The Homeless Remembrance Project for an art installation at the US Capitol on 12/21/22. These quilts will be then given to the homeless.
5. Library Card Sign-Up Month Guessing Jar @ Gum Spring Library - How many items are in the jar? Show us your library card to take a guess. Guess correctly and you get to pick a small prize from our treasure chest. Visit the Children's Desk to play.
6. Dog Swim @ Lovettsville Community Center, Lovettsville - Join us as we turn over our pool to the dogs for our annual Dog Swim. Frisbees and balls are welcome. Only dogs are permitted in the pool. County Dog Licenses are mandatory.
7. Fall Family Fun Day @ Dulles SportsPlex - Stop by on Saturday, Sept 10th for our FREE Fall Family Fun Day! We have an amazing event planned with youth sports, a petting zoo, face painting, balloon animals, magicians, live music, local police & firefighters, Nerf battles, bounce houses, vendors, and more!
8. Children's Book Fair @ Holy Trinity Lutheran Church - Holy Trinity Lutheran Church will host its 15th annual free Children's Book Fair in the Sunday School building from 10 am to 2 pm, with books for young readers of all ages, from preschool through teen and young adult.
9. Full Moon Hike & Campfire @ Banshee Reeks, Leesburg - Experience wildlife after hours during this magical family-friendly adventure! Join a Virginia Master Naturalist on a hike through moonlit woodlands while using bionic ears to amplify the sounds of the night. Stay for a campfire and s’mores, depending on the weather.
