August 14th - August 20th


1. Music & Sketching in the Garden: Loudoun Brass Quintet @ Franklin Park Arts Center - Unpack your picnic basket and relax in the Sculpture Garden at Franklin Park while listening to live music. Visit the visual artists as they listen as well, painting plein air. Be one of the first 50 patrons and receive your own sketch pad to enjoy the music while your creative mind sketches your feelings. Bring your own picnic and chairs/blanket.  Music begins at 6:00 pm


2. Waterplay & Bubbles @ Bluemont Community Center - Join us for a morning of bubbles and water play. Wear a swimsuit and bring a towel and lunch and a water bottle.


3. Mommy & Me Yoga @ Middleburg Community Center - This class provides moms the opportunity to regain strength and tone muscle while bonding, and playing with their babies. You and your baby will play and practice yoga while you explore movement and connect with other moms and babies.  Pool admission is free after the yoga class! 


4. Paint Pouring * Youth & Teen Drop Off Ages 10-16 @ AR Workshop Leesburg - Drop the Kids off for some fun before they had back to school! Ages 10-16 can join us at AR Workshop for our Specialty Workshop - Paint Pouring! In the workshop, you will have the opportunity to customize your project with your choice of FOUR designer paints. 


5. Critters & Crafts @ Loudoun County Animal Services - Join us for Critters & Crafts! This educational program includes learning about animals and then making a craft!


7. 123 Andrés @ Dulles Town Center - ¡Bienvenidos! Join the Latin Grammy winning duo, Andrés and Christina, as they take you on a bilingual adventure. This interactive musical performance is filled with fun so get ready to dance!


8. Virginia Search and Rescue Dogs @ Middleburg Library - Learn about the training and use of search and rescue dogs and then see the dogs in action. Bring a blanket for outside seating.


9. Princess Bride: Movie on the Green @ Walker Pavilion - It is truly inconceivable that we are once again at the end of our Summer on the Green Series! We are bringing back a Lovettsville Fan Favorite, The Princess Bride!


10. Leesburg Festival of Crafts & Kites at Ida Lee Rec Center - Enjoy a full day of flying kites, eat good food, shop and support local artisans and crafters and other small businesses, great music and entertainment from our international DJ, and lots of activities for kids at the 2022 Leesburg Festival of Crafts & Kites at Ida Lee Park.
