July 31st - August 6th


1. Movies Under the Stars - Elf @ Loudoun Station’s District Park, Ashburn - Please bring your chair or blanket to enjoy Movies Under the Stars featuring 'Elf.'  Events are free and open to the public, weather permitting.


2. Camp Hogwarts @ Cascades Library - Drop in for an immersive Hogwarts experience. Visit Ollivanders, attend the classes Potions and Care of Magical Creatures, and participate in other Harry Potter fun. Supplies may be limited. For Grades K-5. 


3. Middleburg National Night Out - Share in the free food, fun, and games that are the Middleburg National Night Out! National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. We 'may' be filming the police lip sync challenge so you could be in it! 


4. Reptile Show  @ Bush Tabernacle - Hosted by the Loudoun County Public Library, come join Bobby G. Pets Reptile Entertainment for an amazing 45 min reptile show. Free to the public. 


5. Storytime at the Shelter @ Loudoun County Animal Services - Join us for Storytime at the Shelter! This program is designed for our youngest animal lovers! We will read a story and then meet a few adoptable animals!


6. Dip-N-Dodge Days @ Lovettsville Community Center Pool - Looking for a fun way to mix up your week!? We’ll play various games of dodge ball and then cool off at the pool. Please pack a nut-free lunch and a water bottle.


7. Peach Fuzztival @ Great Country Farms, Bluemont - Celebrate Peak Peach Picking Season!  Come and enjoy peaches in great food and drink at this full collaboration between Bluemont Vineyard, Dirt Farm Brewing, Henway Hard Cider, and Great Country Farms, all located in Bluemont, VA. Kick off the morning with fresh apple cider donuts and Red Rooster Coffee in Knead It Bakery. What’s the Fuzz? Get the whole family involved in the Peach fun with our Peach Eating Contest, Peach Pit Spitting Contest, and Family Water Games.


8. Let’s Count Butterflies! -  Count! Come and have fun while contributing to butterfly conservation. Each year the North American Butterfly Association (NABA) asks volunteers around the nation to count all the butterflies they see within specified count circles. Our circle stretches from Leesburg to the Blue Ridge and from Lovettsville to Lincoln, along roadsides and driveways, public pollinator plantings, and private gardens. All ages and experience levels are welcome — you’ll be teamed up with experienced leaders. 


9. Worm Compost for Kids! @ Willowsford Farm - Nick with Apex Organix talks with kids and parents alike about the importance of compost, how it helps grow healthy food, and more. Attendees will get to feel the soil, feed the worms, observe the difference between composted soil and non (think new construction site!), and take home Willowsford potted transplants to compare growth and progress.


10. Beatrix Potter with Loudoun Ballet @ Middleburg Library - Loudoun Ballet presents Tales from Beatrix Potter. Meet your favorite characters, including Peter Rabbit, Jemima Puddle-duck, Jeremy Fisher, Squirrel Nutkin, and Mrs. Tiggy-winkle.
