Top 10 Events in Loudoun: July 10th - July 16th

July 10th - July 16th


1. SimplyBe Arts - SimplyBe ARTS is back this summer! We hope your family will join us for 5 FREE art classes for school-aged children on Mondays from 10am - 11am, July 11th through August 8th.


2. Tales and Treats Around the Campfire @ Lovettsville Library - Listen to adventure stories around a "campfire" and make a yummy s'mores trail mix. 


3. Preschool on the Farm @ Loudoun Heritage Farm Museum - For the summer, come join our instructor on Wednesdays for music, games and stories. Hands-on craft may be included depending on the topic of the week.


4. Ice Cream Day at the Old School House - Join us for Ice Cream Day. We will serve yummy cold treats from 12pm -2pm. Don’t miss it! 


5. Music in the Gap @ Old Stone School, Hillsboro - Enjoy great music, food, beer, wine, and dancing!  High-Power Brass: Boasting nearly a dozen members, the award-winning Texas Chainsaw Horns will electrify the night led by trumpeter and innovative arranger Tony Murtha and powered by their tight five-horn section. The Horns’ wide repertoire draws from across genres, influenced by the likes of Tower of Power, James Brown, Ray Charles and ZZ Top.


6. Puppet Night- After Hours with the Family! @ Leesburg Animal Park - Bring the whole family on Friday, July 15th from 5:30-8:30 PM for an after-hours night at Leesburg Animal Park!


7. Saturdays in the Park (Middleburg Museum) - The Middleburg Museum and Pink Box Visitors Center would like to invite you to our first annual Saturdays in the Park! Join us for an afternoon of music, food, and fun. There will be history demonstrations and special guests throughout the summer.


8. Fun for Furry Friends @ Ashburn Library - Make toys for the furry friends in your life, even if you don't have a pet of your own. We will be collecting dog and cat toys and food to donate to the Loudoun County Animal Shelter and the Loudoun Pet Pantry. For Grades K-5. 


9. Planetarium Program: Summer Skies and Festivals; Matariki @ Franklin Park Arts Center - This month, we focus on the summer festivals, such as the Matariki festival in New Zealand. Learn how the stars and the night sky are part of cultural traditions. Set up on the stage of our theater, with mostly floor seating, the program lasts about 40 minutes. Activities before/after the program in our lobby.


10. Movie Night! @ Lansdowne Town Center - Join us on a Friday night each month for a FREE family-friendly movie and a fabulous time! Bring your picnic blankets or low lawn chairs to the Lansdowne Town Center Village Green and enjoy a relaxing evening of family entertainment.
