Top 10 Events in Loudoun: June 5th - June 11th

Top 10 of the Week

June 5th - June 11th


1. One Loudoun Carnival - Come one, come all! Join us for this years Carnival at Uptown for all of your favorite rides, games and eats! June 8th - 26th  and  August 10th - 21st.


2. Summertime Fair at Temple Hall Farm - Come visit the Legacy Farms gardens for a fun, family-friendly Summertime Country Fair at Temple Hall Regional Park on Saturday, June 11 from 1-4. We're excited to show you our expanded garden space, introduce you to our mentors and apprentices, and celebrate Legacy Farms' growth with you, our larger community!


3. Dairy Day @ Loudoun Heritage Farm Museum - Dairy Day is back! Come on out and have fun while learning all about dairy! We will have live music, food trucks, children's activities, dairy animals, and more.


4. Bilingual Storytime/Hora de cuentos bilingüe @ Purcellville Library -  Join us for a Spanish/English storytime. / Acompañaros para una hora de cuentos bilingüe en inglés y español. 


5. Storytime at the Shelter @ Loudoun County Animal Services - Stop by the Shelter for Storytime! This program is designed for our youngest animal lovers! We will read a story and then meet a few adoptable animals!


6. Live Music in the Plaza Thursdays @ Cascades Overlook Town Center -  Join us for FREE LIVE MUSIC on the Plaza, every Thursday 6 - 9 pm. Bring a chair or use one of ours (if available) and enjoy the live music.


7. DIY Teens: Pride Pins @ Gum Spring Library - Drop in during June to make a pin celebrating Pride Month. 


8. Family Fishing Day @ Claude Moore Community Park - Castaway and try for the big one! Join friends and family for a fun-filled fishing adventure. Participate in drawings for prizes. Poles are available on a first-come, first-served basis.


9. Claypool’s Rebellion: Revolutionary War Living History @ Sky Meadows State Park, Delaplane - In 1781, during the American Revolution, volunteer militiamen were called from the lower Shenandoah Valley to join General Daniel Morgan to quell a loyalist uprising, known as Claypool's Rebellion, in present-day West Virginia. Journey back in time and immerse yourself in the sights, sounds, and smells of the Revolutionary War as the 2nd Virginia Regiment hosts a military muster to portray the gathering of the local militias.


10. Parent's Night Out! @ Super Kicks Karate - Games! Fun! Pizza! Send your kids to our parent's night out event and take a few hours to yourself! Drop them off with our adult staff, and we'll keep them busy and engaged, and energized!
