May 29th - June 4th


1. Strawberry Jubilee Fest @ Great Country Farms, Bluemont - Join us for the annual strawberry festival at Great Country Farms in Loudoun County Virginia. To celebrate the royal strawberry, our Jubilee is packed with live music, farm contests, wagon rides, great food and fun games for the whole family!


2. Sadie's Race @ Purcellville Train Station, Purcellville - Sadie's Race is Back for 2022! 100% of proceeds go to SmileTrain! An easy and fast, certified, chip-timed 5k course race in beautiful Purcellville for a great cause! Prior to the race, we will have a kids fun run plus many activities for the whole family. Please join us in getting feet on the pavement to give children the chance to smile!


3. Fishing Derby! @ Leesburg Animal Park - Fishing at the pond from 11 AM – 3 PM! Bring your own pole or borrow one of ours. Catch and release only. Included with admission. Biggest catch of the day wins a prize! 


4. Asian Pacific Heritage Storytime @ Purcellville Library - Celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month with stories and ukulele classics.  


5. Preschool on the Farm @ Loudoun Heritage Farm Museum - For the summer, come join our instructor on Wednesdays for music, games and stories. Hands on craft may be included depending on the topic of the week.  June 1 - On The Farm.


6. Snakes Alive @ Cascades Library - Snakes play an important role in maintaining the balance and diversity of native species. They keep rodent and insect populations in check and in turn are preyed upon by larger species. While they spend the cold months in hibernation, much of their summer is spent under cover or basking in the sun. Join naturalist Jenny Erickson to learn and explore the fascinating aspects about the various species native to our area. This talk is co-sponsored by Loudoun Wildlife Conservancy and the Loudoun County Public Library. 


7. Western Loudoun Art & Studio Tour @ Franklin Park Arts Center - After a two-year postponement, the 2022 driving tour is back and in-person! Visit and support over 40 artists as you experience personal interaction and the opportunity to view their work processes. We are hosting 4 artists this weekend! www.WLAST.org.


8. First Annual 'PCC' Family Camp-out! @ Philomont Park - Come on out and join us for our first ever family ‘camp-out’ evening. Bring a blanket, a flashlight or lantern and join us for family fun in our outdoor park. We will have hotdogs, popcorn, s’mores and family friendly games. A great way to spend a Friday evening with your neighbors in the park! 


9. Family Fun in the Sun @ Dulles Town Center- Mod & Muse - Join our Princesses, Superheroes and Wizards for weekly character meet and greets. You'll find us singing, dancing and crafting first, second and third Saturday and last Sunday of each month. June 4th - It's Harry (Potter's) Birthday and WE LOVE throwing birthday parties here. We'll make an edible potion, charm bracelet, practice our spells and learn a few magic tricks with everyday objects found at home.


10. Sunday Sketch @ National Sporting Library & Museum - Join us for Sunday Sketch in May with artist Mary Jennings!  There will be a 15-minute skill session from 2pm - 2:15pm that will be streamed on Facebook Live, and the in-person guided activity will start at 2:30.
