April 24 - April 30


1. FREE Family Fun Day @ Dulles SportsPlex - Join us Sunday, April 24th from 9am-12pm for our FREE Family Fun Day! Kids will enjoy trial sports classes, Nerf battles, reptile exhibit, bounce houses, inflatable ax throwing, giant bowling, vendors, and more!


2. Leesburg Flower and Garden Festival - The Flower and Garden Festival has become an annual rite of spring for Loudoun County and it’s not hard to see why. The downtown festival boasts 125+ vendors which include landscapers, gardening suppliers, plant sellers, outdoor living furniture, and more. The celebration also features music, entertainment, activities for the kids, a rooftop beer garden, and delicious food.  It is not to be missed!


3. Dirty Work Afoot @ Loudoun Valley Community Center -  DIRTY WORK AFOOT is a family friendly, traditional, old fashion melodrama, with a villain to boo and a hero to cheer. DIRTY WORK AFOOT is the story of the Whitneys, a wealthy family who is the target of the villainous Ravenaw Blackwing who plans to marry the daughter for her fortune. It is also the story of Robert Whitney and his love for the house maid Penelope Pure who is hiding a deep secret that keeps her from returning his love.


4. Parent's Night Out @ Kidz Plaza Indoor Playground - Time for you to relax and drop off the kids and take a night off! Let Kidz Plaza watch the kids as they enjoy the 3-story play structure, inflatables, ball pits, interactive floor games, activities, and more. Pizza and juice will be provided. Ages 3 and up.


5. Preschool STEM Circle Time @ Dulles Town Center- Mod & Muse, Dulles - Each week we will learn about the world around us through STE(A)M projects, stories, and circle time. Your child will receive a notebook to document their STE(A)M learning. They will scrapbook, glue, color and protect their precious artwork and projects created each week.


6. Captain America: The First Avenger Movie and Craft @ Ashburn Library - Watch Captain America: The First Avenger (PG-13, 124 minutes) and make shields. Costumes encouraged.


7. Concert on the Steps @ Middleburg Community Center - We are excited to announce the first Concert on the Steps event for the 2022 Year will be Friday, April 29th from 6-8pm! With COVID-19 behind us, we are going back to our roots and kicking off our Concert Series on the Front Steps.


8. Month of Mama Free Week @ Village at Leesburg - MONTH OF MAMA is coming! And to kick it off we are celebrating with a FREE week of FIT4Mom classes and fun activities from April 30-May 6!


9. Purcellville Music and Arts Festival @ Fireman's Field - Held at the historic Dillon’s Woods and Bush Tabernacle at the Fireman’s Field Complex, this family-friendly festival is free and open to the public. There will be multiple stages featuring live music and performances, an art show, a variety of fun activities and demonstrations, and artisan and food.


10. Family Storytime @ Brambleton Library - Rhymes, songs, stories and movement for children ages 5 and under with caregiver.
