1. Santa Jingle and Mingle @ Great Country Farms, Bluemont - It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Santa Clause is comin’ to town and making a stop at Great Country Farms. Join us for a Jingle and Mingle with Santa at the Farm. Enjoy delicious holiday treats from Knead It Bakery such as pies, apple cider donuts and holiday cookies plus seasonal beverages such as hot chocolate and mulled hot apple cider. There will be marshmallows for roasting, a coloring station for you to write a letter to Santa, a holiday scavenger hunt and even Stiltz, the goat, is going to be hanging out with his festive attire before he cozies up for Winter! Weather permitting, the play area will be open so bundle up to explore.


2. Babe's In Toyland @ StageCoach Theatre, Ashburn - Mother Goose Land is all astir over the rivalry between miserly, mean-hearted Uncle Barnaby and young, handsome, gentle Alan for the love of Mistress Mary Quite Contrary. Getting in the act are Jack and Jill, Little Bo Peep, and many other Mother Goose characters, along with Barnaby’s clownish hit men, Roderigo and Gonzorgo. Trying to escape, Alan and Mary have to pass through the dangerous Spider’s Forest. Even in Toyland they are not safe, and the fast action and beautiful music continue.


3. Discount Tickets to Tinsel! NoVA's NEW Winter Wonderland - Introducing Northern Virginia’s newest immersive, fully interactive winter destination: Tinsel! Plan to spend a winter evening with your family at Tinsel!, an outdoor festival in Sterling, VA. Get ready for some merry-making and memory-making in this larger-than-life holiday village.


4. Lighted Nights @ Claude Moore Park - Holiday light displays will be available for viewing during a special extended opening of Claude Moore Park. Stop by on a Friday or Saturday for a leisurely night stroll (self-guided) down Vestals Gap Rd and into the historic district to enjoy the festive decorations. Park closes promptly at 7pm.


5.  A Laurie Berkner Virtual Family Concert - Holiday Party! - Sing, dance, and play interactive games through your device with Laurie Berkner (plus some special guests) as they perform your favorite songs, interact with you through the computer, and bring in a few surprises – from Laurie’s house to yours! This special virtual concert event is the 10th in this series, and your ticket helps support the team in continuing operations while we can’t tour. Join us for the hour before the concert for some fun pre-show activities and to make sure your stream is working smoothly!


6. Winter Fest @ Claude Moore Recreation Center - (Ages 3-12) Come join us for our annual winter festival! We will celebrate the winter seasons with songs, stories, fun activities, crafts, photo opportunities, and Moore! Each child will receive their own activity kit and a light meal. A drink and snack are included for all adults. 


7. "A Christmas Carol" in Middleburg - Have a Dickens of a Christmas in Middleburg presents two performances of A Christmas Carol (run time 30-40 minutes). Journey back to 19th century London where the Ghosts of Christmas are paying a visit to Ebenezer Scrooge. The play comes to life with interaction from the audience and performances by local favorites (Hunt Lyman is Ebenezer Scrooge), as well as several New York actors. A Christmas Carol like you have never experienced before. Don’t be a Humbug! Be there!


8. Kids Yoga (Ages 6-12) at Samskara Yoga in Dulles! - Kids Yoga is BACK at Samskara! Let the kids move, breathe, and BE while you take a few moments for YOU. Ages 6-12, masks are required of all participants.


9. Community Art: Build A Snow Pal @ Cascades Library - Help us create a giant snow pal by decorating a mini snow pal. Watch throughout the month as this collaborative art project grows. Pick up a mini snow pal template at the library starting December 1. For all ages. 


10. Christmas Choral Concert @ Middleburg United Methodist Church -The Middleburg Concert Series is pleased to present the Shenandoah University Conservatory Choir in a spectacular Christmas choral concert at the Middleburg United Methodist Church under the direction of Chanticleer Director Emeritus Dr. Matt Oltman.
