Top 10 of the Week

November 28-  December 4


1. Holiday Road @ Morven Park - Holiday Road is the premiere Holiday experience. Expect to see some larger than life holiday displays, illuminating lights, Santa and Mrs. Claus, Elves, countless candy canes and all of your favorite holiday cheer!  Holiday Road takes place from November 26th – January 2nd. We open at 5:00pm and close at 11:00 pm. We have designated time slots starting at 5:30pm and ending at 9:30pm. Advanced ticket purchase is required. 


2. Eco Art @ Sterling Community Center, Sterling - (Ages 3-5) Children will create art activities inspired by nature that use natural materials and develop an awareness for the environment. These eco-friendly activities are sure to excite your little ones.


3. Community Art: Build A Snow Pal @ Cascades Library - Help us create a giant snow pal by decorating a mini snow pal. Watch throughout the month as this collaborative art project grows. Pick up a mini snow pal template at the library starting December 1. For all ages. 


4. Children's Take & Make: Hanukkah Craft @ Gum Spring Library -  Grab a Hanukkah craft kit to go from the Gum Spring Library children's desk or through curbside pick-up, while supplies last.


5. Christmas in Middleburg - Join one of the most fun-filled family festivals of the year in Middleburg with activities, special events, great eats, the famous Middleburg Hunt Review, and a mile-long Christmas parade. Afterwards, experience a Middleburg evening in the town's bistros, cafes, pubs, and restaurants joining in the Spirits of Middleburg.


6. Holiday Fine Arts and Crafts Show @ Ida Lee, Leesburg - No big-box shopping here! This show features local and regional artisans selling hand-made items including candles, stained glass, carved wood, jewelry, table linens, and more. Find something for everyone on your shopping list and a little something to brighten your home this season. Admission and parking for this show are free. 


7. Santa Saturdays @ Village at Leesburg - Dress up in your holiday best to take a picture with Santa! Share with Mr.Northpole what made your list this year while making memories. After snapping a pic, stop by the Wish Tree to make a suggested donation of 1 dollar to Loudoun Hunger Relief to help us end food insecurity in our community.


8. Mommy & Me Gift Wrapping Party @ Oatlands Historic House and Gardens -Moms, aunts, grandmoms, adult big sisters, stepmoms and mother figures can bring their children to wrap holiday gifts in a fun atmosphere. Hot cocoa and cookies will be served. 


9. The Nutcracker @ Loudoun Valley High School - Set to Tchaikovsky’s extraordinary musical score, LBPAC’s full-length production of The Nutcracker is a classic, timeless adventure of holiday magic! A delight for all ages, LBPAC’s The Nutcracker has secured its position as Loudoun County’s favorite holiday tradition.


10. Christmas Festival @ Christian Fellowship Church - Come on out for a morning of Christmas fun! Each child will receive a punch card to receive hot chocolate, a Christmas treat, and be able to make a Christmas craft. Bring your camera and take a photo with Santa!
We will also have carnival-type games, dancing, and a raffle!
