1. Kids Pumpkin Decorating & Pizza Making Class @ Wild Wood Pizza, Leesburg - Count on your kids being covered in flour, tomato sauce, and full of memories in this hands-on pizza making experience at Wild Wood Pizza at Village at Leesburg! Chef Curtis Allred and his team believe that kids learn best by doing. This hands-on class will teach kids how to roll and knead dough, create authentic pizzas from scratch, and watch along as the Wild Wood team uses our wood-burning oven to perfectly cook your child's creations. Afterwards, enjoy pumpkin decorating with your new friends you'll make in class!


2. Haunted Trail @ Salamander Resort, Middleburg - This family-friendly Haunted Trail takes place on the evenings of October 27th through October 30th. The .6 mile trail will feature 10-actor scenes from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The trail is geared towards children that are 4 through 12 years old. Children wanting to walk through the trail without the actors in the scenes can do that at 6:30 pm.


3. Family Pumpkin Carving at Bear Chase Brewery - It is that time of year again! We will be hosting 4 sessions to carve pumpkins at bear chase brewing. Monday(10/25) and Thursday (10/28) each day has 2 sessions: 4:30-6:00 and 6:30-8:00. Each ticket includes 1 pumpkin, basic carving equipment, and a pretzel to enjoy before or after your carving session. Each ticket gets half a picnic table to carve your pumpkin.


4. Halloween Trick-or-Treat at the Library @ Gum Spring Library - Dress in your Halloween best and trick-or-treat around the library. Start at the Children's Desk for a bag and visit each service desk for Halloween goodies.  


5. Halloween Egg Hunt & Costume Contest @ Loudoun Valley Community Center - LVCC - Join us for a spooktacular morning of Halloween fun at LVCC. Our entire property will be filled with black and orange eggs filled with candy and Halloween trinkets! There will also be a contest for best costume! 


6. Air & Scare Outside at Udvar-Hazy - Trick or treat stations with free candy and snacks.. Creepy crafts, spooky experiments, and other Hallloween-themed activities for family members of all ages. Special story times and puppet shows for the youngest Halloween revelers. Photo opportunities with your favorite Star Wars characters. This year many of our Star Wars friends can also be visited at activity stations.


7. Halloween Bark Bash @ One Loudoun - Pet Lovers, Children and Families! Join LOVEPAWS at One Loudoun’s signature pet event event! The Halloween Bark Bash at One Loudoun is an outdoor, Halloween-themed festival, bringing together local pet-focused businesses, animal rescue groups, and pet owners for an exciting day of trick or treating, adoptable dogs, music, costumes, and animals galore. Trick–or–treat trail around the property provides a safe, socially distant experience. Activities include Vendor booths, DJ, costume contest, adoptable dogs, photo booth, dog caricatures, kid’s activities, and more! 


8. Trunk or Treat @ Crossroads United Methodist Church, Ashburn - Bring your decorated car and candy or just bring the kids in costume to trick or treat!


9. Haunted Hike @ Notaviva Craft Fermentations, Purcellville - Come on out to Notaviva on October 22nd, 23rd, 29th and 30th for the half mile Haunted Hike! All proceeds benefit Boy Scout Troop 961! Recommended for ages 10 and up.


10. Surfing Pumpkins at Beach @ Douglass Community Center, Leesburg - (Ages 2-6) Who says you can only hunt Easter eggs? Well, join us at the Douglass Dunes to hunt pumpkins. You will also enjoy apple cider and apple cider doughnuts
