1. Family Swim @ Goldfish Swim School, Ashburn - Whether you want to help your children practice their swimming skills or your family needs some bonding time, a Family Swim is a great way to spend an afternoon. Enjoy your day or evening in our shiver-free pool that’s heated to a pleasant 90°. 


2. And Then There Were None @ Franklin Park Arts Center - Director John McArthur returns after a year of pandemic quarantine and limitations on performance, to bring us his vision of the most famous of Agatha Christie’s works. Ten People with shady histories are invited to vacation on Soldier Island.  The host never shows, and the guests begin to die. A wonderful “Who dunnit” that will keep you on the edge of your seat. 


3. Sunday Sketch with Barbara Sharp @ National Sporting Library & Museum - Sketch and sketch often with artist Barbara Sharp. Practice focusing your attention on the interior of a room with a sketching class inside the Library! All supplies are provided. This program is free and open to all ages and levels. Museum admission is also free on August 29th!


4. StoryWalk®: Pete the Cat: Rocking In My School Shoes with Gum Spring Library - Get the whole family moving with a StoryWalk® around the pond next to Gum Spring Library as you read Pete the Cat: Rocking in My School Shoes by Eric Litwin. Complete the StoryWalk® between August 23 and September 7, then stop by the library to pick up your prize. 


5. Harry Potter Movies Trivia at Alamo Drafthouse Loudoun - See if you've got what it takes to be a 'Prefect' at Harry Potter (Movie) Trivia at Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Loudoun on Thursday, September 2nd at 7pm for FIVE rounds of Ordinary Wizarding Levels that will challenge your memory! 


6. Itty Bitty Songs, Play and Moore @ Claude Moore Community Center, Sterling - (Ages 2-4) Bring your little one and make memories! Enjoy storytime, songs, circle time, a themed activity, and MOORE!


7. Wine & Wildlife - After Hours Event for the family! @ Leesburg Animal Park - Bring the entire family on Friday, September 3rd for our final Wine & Wildlife series event – an exclusive behind-the-scenes event hosted by our partner Stone Tower Winery!


8. Apple Gala Festival Great Country Farms @ Great Country Farms, Bluemont - Join us for our annual Apple Gala Festival, taking place the whole month of September. Daily, you’ll enjoy apple picking in our orchards filled with over 50 varieties that ripen over time. Most of our trees are dwarf varieties so pick your own is easy for all members of the farmily. At times, there could be over 10 varieties available to pick your own at once!


9. Alternate Crossing Live At Vanish Brewery - Alternate Crossing is a cover band playing your favorite pop and rock songs from the sixties to the present day. At any one of their shows, the audience can expect to hear songs by The Beatles, Van Morrison, Sublime, The Black Keys, and many more. There is something for everyone to dance, sing or chill back and have fun too.


10. Cabana Nights at One Loudoun - Come enjoy One Loudoun’s newest summer event! Cabana Nights is a unique, upscale concert series. Reserve a private VIP cabana, bring your own blanket or lawn chair, or listen from the outdoor patios of our restaurants surrounding the plaza.
