May June 20th- June 26th


1. Father's Day Fishing Tournament @ Henway Hard Cider - Treat Dad to a day of catch-and-release fishing! Compete in our Fish-a-Rama contest, fishing for bass and bluegill in our stocked pond. Prizes are on the line for the largest fish caught between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. and for the most fish caught during the power hour from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. Bring your own pole and gear to fish (no drag hooks) and we will have worms for sale with your contest entry!


2. Father's Day Gift Making @ Kidcreate Studio Ashburn - What dad wouldn’t love a gift made just for him? Show your dad how much you love him by making a Father’s Day gift with your own two hands! We’ll draw self-portraits and make the frames to put them in. 


3. StoryWalk®: Great Dad Jokes @ Purcellville Library - In honor of Father's Day, celebrate one of the best aspects of being a dad: dad jokes. This program is in collaboration with the StoryWalk® Project.  


4. Kids Concert Series: Presented by Everbrook Academy @ One Loudoun - Kids Summer Concert Series sponsored by Everbrook Academy is BACK! Rocknocerous Popular Kid’s Band plays original hits, every Monday on the Plaza, from June through August. Attendance is free to the public. 


5. Outdoor Movie Night In South Riding - “I do not make films primarily for children. I make them for the child in all of us, whether we be six or sixty.”- WALT DISNEY.  Bring your kids and feel like a kid again yourself watching a movie outside on the BIG screen. Admission is FREE! Movies will start at sunset. Don’t forget your blanket or chairs. 


6. Rosalita’s Puppets: The Three Singing Princesses @ Franklin Park Arts Center, Purcellville - Three princesses use music to help them in their journey to find their dad. Presented in collaboration with “Stileto Singers”, Rosalita’s Puppets is a musical adventure with masks, puppets and audience participation. A musical featuring 3 singers, masks, puppets and audience participation.


7. Summer Wildlife Trail @ Loudoun County Animal Services - Join us for a fun evening of learning, crafts and games! Make your way through the fields at the shelter with various activities along the way. Learn about baby wildlife, snakes, turtles, and more and make a craft to take home as well. Children of all ages are welcome but those under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.


8. Youth Group Movie Night @ St Matthews Episcopal Church - Middle and high school youth are invited for a fun night of POPCORN and a youth group classic movie. 


9. Swamp Shack Take & Make: Turtles @ Lovettsville Library, Lovettsville - Stop by the Lovettsville Library to pick up an egg carton turtle craft kit. For all ages while supplies last. 


10. Acoustic on the Green @ Town Hall Green, Historic Leesburg - Don’t miss Downtown Leesburg’s popular summer concert series, held every Saturday from June through August. This is a FREE concert series; no admission or ticket needed.  Bring your lawn chair or blanket with you and picnics are encouraged!
