Wegmans Delivered My Way

By Stefanie Egee December 21, 2017

Anyone else feel like you are constantly going to the grocery store? Seriously. It. Never. Ends. I know it is my responsibility to feed my children so it is a necessity, but, oh, the things I could do with all that time I spend at the grocery store! Guess what? You can have that time back. And it’s amazing.

Meet Wegmans Instacart grocery delivery service. That’s right, your favorite grocery store now delivers. To your door. The same great products and the quality you’ve come to expect from Wegmans, but now you don’t even have to leave the comfort of your own home.

You can quickly and easily create an account on Wegmans Instacart and link it to your Wegmans Shopper Club card to get the lowest prices available. Create your grocery list, add special instructions, schedule your delivery, and pay. That’s it. I was pleasantly surprised at checkout that there were delivery times available within the hour and throughout the day. As my delivery time neared, I was updated via text that my shopping had begun, and then when substitutions were made, and finally that my delivery was on its way (all as I was knocking out the rest of my to-do list).

I will admit that I am a bit picky about my groceries, especially my produce. So I was a tad bit skeptical that the Instacart shoppers would use the same scrutiny as I do at the store. Well, they actually did better than I do. The fruits and vegetables were near perfect. I added a few specific instructions, like how ripe we like our bananas, and they were followed to a T. In fact, everything in my delivery was exactly the way I like it, but took a fraction of the time. I actually had the energy to make the food I just bought, rather than being spent after a full grocery run.

I'm hooked. Want to give Wegmans Instacart a try yourself? Wegmans is offering Macaroni Kid readers a $10 off a $35 minimum order for first time shoppers using the promo code MACARONIKID.

I was provided with a shopping credit and compensation for the purposes of this review.
