The Wandering Chef Delivers in Loudoun

Who doesn’t want a break from the kitchen and a little more family time each week? The Wandering Chef can help! Fed by the Wandering Chef (Former the Wandering Chef Buyer’s Club) provides freshly prepared, ready to eat meals available for pick up in Ashburn or delivery weekly throughout Loudoun. we In addition to the new name, there is also a second delivery date! The same menu will be offered for an entire week available from Thursday afternoon until the following Thursday at 9am. Orders are due by 9am on Monday morning and ready for pick up or delivery on Tuesday and 9am on Thursday for delivery or pickup on Friday.

This week’s menu includes:

  • Split Pea & Ham Soup - Slow Roasted and Simmered Heritage Farms Pork Shoulder in our house made stock with Organic Trinity, Roasted Tomatillos, Cilantro, Hominy and finished with Fresh Lime Juice
  • Organic Corn & Roasted Tomato Chowder  - Idaho Potatoes, Organic Corn, Celery and Onions with Roasted Peppers and Tomatoes - Thickened with Pureed Vegetables and Finished with Cream and Fresh Herbs
  • Chicken Spring Berry Salad - Herb Vinaigrette Marinated and Roasted Chicken Breast - Served over Organic Romaine Lettuce and Baby Arugula, Strawberries, Blueberries, Crumbled Goat Cheese, Cucumbers, Candied Pecans and our Green Goodness Vinaigrette
  • Nurture Bowl: Lime, Chipotle and Cilantro Marinated and Roasted Turkey Breast served with Coriander and Garlic Quinoa, Simmered Black Beans, Roasted Zucchini, Tomatoes, Onions and Peppers, Mango Salsa and Yogurt-Cilantro "Crema"
  • Hand Rolled Beef & Pork Meatballs - Creekstone Farms Beef and Heritage Farms Pork mixed with Garlic, Fresh Herbs and Parmesan Cheese and bound with Pureed Organic Vegetables and Breadcrumbs. Hand rolled and Roasted then simmered in our Tomato Basil Sauce. 
  • Chicken Cordon Bleu - Lightly Breaded and Pan Fried (Or select the GF option which is simply roasted) then topped with topped with Ham and a Mustard Sauce then Topped with Swiss Cheese - Served with Mashed Potatoes and Roasted Brussel Sprouts and Cauliflower. 
  • BBQ Glazed Beef Brisket - Trimmed, Rubbed, Smoked and Slow Roasted Beef Brisket Glazed in our House made BBQ Sauce and served over BBQ Baked Beans with our Sweet and Tangy Cole Slaw on the Side
  • Frittata - Local Eggs! From Whiffletree Farms in Warrenton - 6 eggs per pan mixed with a bit of Organic Milk, "Western Omelet" Style with Roasted Peppers, Onions and Tomatoes and Crisped Bacon. Topped with a Cheddar-Jack Cheese Blend. Baked in our "Single Serving" pans. Ready to reheat or eat!
  • Shrimp Fajaitas Marinated and Sauteed Shrimp with Peppers and Onions and Tossed with Fresh Lime, Cilantro and Scallions - served with Steamed Cilantro Rice and Roasted Tomatoes and Zucchini - Flour Tortillas on the Side
  • Lean Meal: Chicken Lettuce Wraps - All White Meat Ground Chicken simmered with Fresh Ginger, Garlic, Tamari and Honey and Served with a Pickled Vegetable Slaw and Romaine Lettuce Cups
  • Kids Meal - Fish Sticks - Mild White Fish (Have to see what is available) Lightly marinated in buttermilk then tossed in GF Breadcrumbs and baked - served with Mashed Potatoes and Organic Corn - Berry and Yogurt Parfait for dessert!
  • Mac n Cheese - Traditional noodles and scratch made sauce with cheddar and mild jack cheeses. Dinner Sized Pan. Baked with Toasted Breadcrumbs
The Wandering Chef uses hormone and antibiotic free meats, organic vegetables, high quality ingredients that are minimally processed. Menu items are fully cooked and ready to reheat in the container they come in. Simple instructions are included with each meal.
